Sweet Protection has designed the Bushwhacker II MIPS Helmet for aggressive riders who want a lightweight, well-ventilated lid with added safety features. The helmet features MIPS technology, which includes a low-friction, elastomeric liner that rotates independently in the event of a crash, dissipating forces from angled impacts. This is a significant improvement over traditional trail lids that only protect against straight-on impacts.

Compared to the previous generation, the Bushwhacker II is much lighter and provides better ventilation, thanks to Sweet Protection's Superficial Temporal Artery Cooling Channel and numerous exhaust ports. The Occigrip mechanism allows for a secure and quick fit adjustment with a rear-mounted dial, while the adjustable visor is compatible with goggles. Additionally, soft silicone pads ensure comfort during long rides.

The shell material is polycarbonate, and the claimed weight for medium/large size is 11.6oz (330g). The manufacturer offers a 2-year warranty, and the ventilation system includes DOV and STACC ventilation. The fit adjustment is made using the Occigrip turn dial.
